Halloween carnival

• tonight prior to trick-or-treating in our neighborhood we went to a carnival that my friend from Starbucks told me about.  She had mentioned that her church was throwing a carnival and they would have crafts and a bouncy house and food...all sorts of things.  We decided to go for an hour to check it out.  The kids had a BLAST!  The first thing Bre said (as she scoped out the happenings) was "this doesn't look like a fun carnival."  After participating in the slides, bouncy houses and games she said (and I quote), "this is a great carnival!"  Really, we could have made a whole night of it.  Had we planned it right we would have just played there and not come home for trick-or-treating.  We'll remember for next year...good times!

Bre threw a stick w/ a ball on either end into a bucket...her stick landed in the Jesus bucket (which thrilled her).

this bouncy was so fun.  Bre was a little small for it but she did great.  It didn't ever throw her back but stopped her dead in her tracks every time she ran...I wanted a turn!

the highlight was this 25' slide.  When we first arrived there weren't many people there and the kids could go up over and over again.  After a while we had to wait in line but it was worth it!
