Rainy day...

The other day it rained SO hard. It's funny...living in the desert...when it rains you run outside to see it. And if there is no thunder/lightening, you run outside so you can run in it. And that's what we did the other day. The kids were soaked w/in a second and had a blast for about a half an hour-when the thunder and lightening started. We've been getting a ton of rain--all last week. But it's been incredibly humid and uncomfortable (which we are not used to and is taking us back to our Chicago days--for the record, we don't like it!). Anyway, we are more than half-way through our intense heat spell. It's always nice when you can almost reach for the end of summer. We'll be sitting pretty in about a month right when the rest of the country starts wearing sweaters and jackets. Anyhoo...enjoy the pics of our two kids...
