Bre's Awana's class is almost over for the year...2 more classes and we're done until the fall. As much as we (and by "we" I'm speaking specifically about myself) are ready for class to be over for the year...we will anticipate next year. Not only has it been a fun time for Bre, but I've met some great people that have become important parts of my life...specifically my friend, Lindsay...a total Godsend and blessing in my life! Bre loves it...and the memory verses are so great. I'm amazed that Bre is able to recite her ENTIRE review verses (that's 21 verses and the books of the New Testament) in one sitting. She's learned a lot this year!
One of the perks for the kids is earning "Awana points". The points are spent at "Awana store"...where they can get all sorts of fun, little trinkets. Bre had a gazilion points to spend. She found a few things that she wanted and then she found a few things to give to her brother. She was more excited about giving them to him than she was about her own items. We put the presents in a box and Bre wrote a little something on it so that Brandon knew it was for him.

That is so sweet of Bre...& SO like her!! But I want to SEE the PRESINS too!!!! & could you tape Bre reciting her verses & put that on your "play list" as well? I would love to hear her & then you'd have it for posterity too! Just a thought!
